Christian Bible Studies For Children - Know Your BibleWhat do you know about the bible? I went to church back in the day when I was a child. I was baptized, and then later "confirmed." However, by the age of 16 I wasn't going any longer. You know how it is. The whole Christian bible studies for children deal isn't quite as fun as it was when you were seven. It wasn't until I was in college that I received an additional dose of the "good book." That was a little course called Bible as Literature. It certainly gave me a few different takes on things. Anyway, I have come to the conclusion that knowledge of the bible is important. In fact, I think it is a crucial part of our lives. It's beneficial to at least know some things about a world slightly different than the one we're already familiar with. The great thing is you can actually be introduced to this creed via the Internet. Ever heard of Christian bible studies for children online? Traditional Christian bible studies for children were not always recognized for their enjoyable nature. These weekly lessons often turned out to be comprised of boring lectures and rote memorization. Going to Sunday school or Wednesday church meetings was never a thing to look forward to especially after spending all week in school. Christian bible studies for children have come a long way since the strict approaches used years ago. Fortunately, many church organizations recognize that kids learn through play and they have incorporated play activities and games into Christian bible studies for children. Introducing an element of play into these learning activities makes the entire process fun and it makes the lessons memorable as well. Some churches have wonderful summer camps filled with great religious learning activities and many of these organizations accept kids who are not regular church members. Another great feature in today’s Christian bible studies for children is the mainstreaming of kids who have special needs. When I worked with young people who have autism or related pervasive developmental disorders, I had the honor of accompanying one of my clients to her weekly Christian bible studies for children. This little girl had a lot of needs and her disorder interfered with her ability to learn as well as her ability to function properly in social situation. She became very agitated and scared during some activities and she could not comprehend many of the lessons in the Christian bible studies for children. These deficits were met with tolerance and understanding within the church organization. Many of the other kids didn’t really understand what was wrong with my little girl. She is remarkably pretty and seems completely normal until she is in certain situations. Since she doesn’t appear to have special needs many people do not understand that she does have some problems in learning and social functioning. The leaders of the church group worked in collaboration with me to create Christian bible studies for children that could accommodate my client’s special needs. She proudly worked towards earning rewards and she was praised for interacting with other kids and adults. By the time the Christian bible studies for children were complete for the year she had really come out of her shell. The other kids in the group learned a great deal more than just their religious studies that year as well. Since I am not a regular church goer, I decided to introduce my youngest child to Christian bible studies for children through the Internet. I know it sounds rather peculiar, but it is knowledge nonetheless. Now days you can literally teach your little ones anything you wish about the bible, but from the privacy of your own home. Now, I'm not knocking the church environment, but I do think it's everyone's right to learn how they see fit. From my own personal experiences, I honestly believe that you don't need to attend church to learn about the bible, nor do you need a Sunday church meeting in order to worship God. These things can be accomplished anywhere. Sadly I must say that too many of the folks I saw get sucked into the church routine, lacked other strengths. One of them being greater education than high school, and the other being a liberal mind. I'm not talking politics here, folks. Read with them and let them listen to stories and watch short films. It's truly amazing what you can do in the comfort of your own home.
